ARTIST STATEMENT
"I want my paintings to capture life and the spirit of Harlem and its people.
Having grown up and continuing to live here I have learned that Harlem has a history and rhythm that is unique. The streets and bars sing the Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soca and Reggae.
It is this pulse that I want to recreate in my paintings."
In my drawings I want to find the beauty of line and catch the softness of the human form.
